Since Steve Madden named Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen co-creative directors of Superga in 2011, the twins’ influence has served to elevate this classic Italian shoe brand into the good graces of fashion’s elite.
Now a new set of fashion sisters are taking that elevation one step further — Kate and Laura Mulleavy of Rodarte, who just launched a Superga capsule collection for spring. Gia Coppola, friend of the Mulleavys and a Superga fan herself, stars in the hazy campaign, providing a welcome preview of spring’s star sneakers.
